Where did the name HONEY BLOOM come from?

When I began rebranding (formerly Lindsey Megan Photography), I wanted a name that captured warmth, nature, and a sense of comfort. 'Honey' symbolizes just that – it is also a nickname for my hubby and kids, which makes it even more meaningful. And fun fact—I’m obsessed with plants and flowers! After years of having a so-called 'black thumb,' I’ve fallen in love with gardening. Inspired by both, Honey Bloom was born—and it just feels so perfectly me.

How do I book a session and what payment methods are accepted?

You can call, text or email me to review availability — probably the fastest response is going to be TEXT! My cell is: 832.995.8464 —

you can pay via Invoice, Cash, Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App

What time of day will my session be and how long will it last?

Typically, sessions are booked between 60-90 minutes before sunset— the last hour of light is when we get that dreamy, golden-hour glow! The exact timing will shift a bit throughout the year (thanks, Daylight Savings!), but we’ll always aim for the prettiest light. If you’re more of a morning person, we can also plan for shortly after sunrise.

Session timing largely depends on the number of subject(s) and the type of session! I would say the average session is about 45 minutes (some less, some more) — I won’t rush off until we’ve captured all the magic we need, whether that takes 30 minutes or 90!

What happens if there is bad weather or if there is a family emergency on the day of my session?

While we can’t control the weather, I want to make sure you get the best possible session. If rain is in the forecast or conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll reschedule for a mutually agreed-upon date. I also understand that family emergencies happen, and in those cases, we’ll simply find a new date that works for you!

How far in advance should I book a session?

The sooner, the better! It’s always a great idea to get your session on the calendar early.

What should I wear for my photoshoot?

I always recommend coordinating outfits rather than matching exactly. A great approach is to have one person wear a patterned top while everyone else pulls colors from that pattern for a cohesive look. Avoid graphics, as they can be distracting and take away from the timeless beauty of the photo. I would be happy to assist with outfit advice — just send me a text if you have any questions or need ideas!

Can I bring props or outfit changes?

Absolutely! While I don’t typically use many props (except for mini session setups), I do bring a few simple items like a blanket for sitting or a small kids' chair. If there’s something special, you’d like to include, feel free to bring it—I’d love to incorporate it into your session!

Outfit changes are permitted, if desired and if time allots - please discuss with me so that we can ensure we book enough time for your shoot. Layering is a perfect option for quickly altering the look of your shoot—such as removing a jacket, adding a hat, removing shoes, etc.—giving you more variety without needing a full outfit change.

How long does it take to receive my final photos?

I strive to get your photos back to you as quickly as possible—I know how exciting it is to see them! While the turnaround time for your final gallery may vary, it will never take more than 1-2 weeks.

Do you travel?

Majority of my sessions are held in Spring/The Woodlands area. A travel fee may apply for locations more than 10 miles, with the exception of pre-designed seasonal mini setups. Please contact to discuss exact details pertaining to your session.
